I designed Enlightened Change as a co-active process:
you have the wisdom and the desire for change
and I provide the support, the tools and the guidance.

I started my career in the business world, balancing my professional life with my love of travel and interest in foreign cultures. As a global marketing professional, I had the opportunity to live and work in several different countries in Europe and Asia. I was exposed to new ideas and points of view that challenged my own beliefs and judgments, and I began to feel there was much more to life than marketing strategies.
This started my own path of self-discovery. I found that in meeting society's expectations I had ignored my inner voice. I left the corporate world and became a consultant so I would have more time for self-discovery. I took the time to study painting for self-expression and tried many self-improvement programs and self-awareness techniques. I found that structured programs where you follow a series of steps in a certain order to obtain specific results do not work. I looked for alternatives. After trying many techniques that promised self-awareness, I found that many were not very effective but I did find some that worked.

I found that successful self-awareness techniques strengthened the voice of my inner wisdom and resulted in authentic change rather than ego-imposed change. How could I tell the difference? Programs I took to 'get something' were work and eventually I stopped. We all know the success rate of New Year's resolutions! Ego-imposed change may bring fleeting happiness but it fails to bring fulfillment. Authentic change is effortless and joyful. Authentic change impacts you immediately with peace, joy, enthusiasm.

My focus shifted from my inner journey to the outer journey by working as a coach to share my experience with grief, depression, lack of fulfillment, and change of lifestyle. I developed the UpliftLife process after working with others addressing life's difficult issues and encouraging transition with wisdom. I synthesized the successful techniques into the Enlightened Change toolbox so I can coach you in a way that is the most effective for you. Most importantly, it is a process unique to you.

I developed SavorLife after dealing with my own difficulties transitioning through mid-life. Starting at age 13, I learned to manage my weight by dieting. But in my forties
, I gained weight despite dieting and felt tired most of the time. I wanted to feel good again but most of all, I wanted the energy to do the things I loved and be able to enjoy eating without fear of gaining weight. In short, I wanted to savor life!
I knew there must be a way to enjoy food, stay trim and regain my vitality without dieting and spending hours exercising at a gym. When I posed the question, my inner voice gave me the answer as well as the resources within weeks. My life began to change effortlessly. Within four months, I lost two dress sizes and felt as good as I did in my twenties. SavorLife incorporates my own experience with extensive research on diet and exercise. Now I eat the foods I love. I look younger. And I feel vital and empowered. If I can do it, you can do it! It's never too late!
